Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
Galatians 1:3-4

Lord, thank You for saving us from this present evil age. Please continue to protect Your sons and daughters throughout what is and what is to come.

But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, and not only by his coming but also by the comfort you had given him. He told us about your longing for me, your deep sorrow, your ardent concern for me, so that my joy was greater than ever.

I am glad that I am not the only one who has “fears within” and that God is a God who comforts.
