Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. 
Without fearing the Lord, I cannot gain wisdom or do His will.

Luke 17:17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?
Jesus recognizes ingratitude and rewards thanksgiving. May I be a grateful person, Lord. 

Luke 17:15-16 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.
Help me to have a heart of praise and gratitude for the miracles You have done. 

1 Kings 21:3-4 But Naboth replied, “The Lord forbid that I should give you the inheritance of my ancestors.” So Ahab went home, sullen and angry because Naboth the Jezreelite had said, “I will not give you the inheritance of my ancestors.” He lay on his bed sulking and refused to eat. 
Do I sulk when the Lord does not give me what I want? Or, do I follow His instruction, and trust that He knows best?

Luke 17:14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.
Obedience facilitates healing. They were healed “as they went.”

May I obey so that God’s promises might occur in my life. 

1 Kings 20:13-14 Meanwhile a prophet came to Ahab king of Israel and announced, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Do you see this vast army? I will give it into your hand today, and then you will know that I am the Lord.’” “But who will do this?” asked Ahab. The prophet replied, “This is what the Lord says: ‘The junior officers under the provincial commanders will do it.’” “And who will start the battle?” he asked. The prophet answered, “You will.” 
How many times do I ask God, “who will do this?” …as if God weren’t powerful enough to do anything he pleases. Lord, give me strong faith.

Proverbs 12:1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid.

Lord, may I not be stupid.

Luke 17:12-13 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”
I need to cry out to the Lord, asking Him to work powerfully in my life. 

Luke 17:10So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’ ”
May I serve the Lord faithfully with the gifts You have given me. 

Luke 17:6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
Even a small amount of faith can activate God’s miracle working power.
