Acts 6:7 So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.

Delegation and discipleship help us spread the Word of God rapidly.

Acts 5:17-18 Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail.

Jealousy leads to acts against God. Lord, remove jealousy and envy from me.

Jesus is THE way to salvation. There is no other!

May I remain in the Lord’s presence and sustain an attitude of worship. 

Acts 3:9-10 When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

May people see me praising God for what He has done for me, so that God can use me to reach others.

Luke 24:51 While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.

Jesus’ blessing continues to rest on us even when we cannot see Him. 

John 21:21-22 When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.”

I need to be careful to focus on what God wants me to do and not what He wants others to do.

Luke 24:49 but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.

Only through His power will we be successful. 

John 20:27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

Lord, remove all doubts from my mind about You.
