1 Thessalonians 2:4 We are not trying to please people but God…
Help me to live to please You, Lord, and not people.
1 Thessalonians 2:4 We are not trying to please people but God…
Help me to live to please You, Lord, and not people.

In the midst of trials may I welcome Your Word with joy from Your Spirit.
Acts 14:19-20 Then some Jews came from Antioch and Iconium and won the crowd over. They stoned Paul and dragged him outside the city, thinking he was dead. But after the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city. The next day he and Barnabas left for Derbe.
Our faith and resilience for the Lord becomes unstoppable when God is for us and other believers surround us.
Acts 11:17 So if God gave them the same gift he gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?”
The Lord offers forgiveness and salvation to all who accept Christ as their Savior. Who am I to think that I could stand in the way of God forgiving even the worst of sinners? After all, He has forgiven me of my sins.
1 Thessalonians 1:3 We remember before our God and Father …your labor prompted by love…

Acts 8:34-35 The eunuch asked Philip, “Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?” Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.

Acts 7:59-60 While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep.
When others hurt me, do I ask God to forgive them and not hold them accountable for their actions?
1 Thessalonians 1:1 Paul, Silas and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians …Grace and peace to you.
Grace is what leads to peace. No grace, no peace. Know grace, know peace. It is true in our relationship with God; it is also true in our relationship with others.
1 Thessalonians 1:2 We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers.
Gratitude for others will lead me to pray for them more consistently.
