1 Timothy 1:15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.

Give me the humility of the Apostle Paul, dear Lord. 

1 Corinthians 8:11 So this weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge.

May I be an example to fellow Christians and not cause them to stumble.

1 Timothy 1:14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

Father, pour out grace., faith, and love on me as you did on Paul. 

1 Corinthians 6:20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

To maintain on a righteous path, I mist remember the price that was paid for my salvation and that I belong to the one true God.

1 Timothy 1:12I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength…

I need to be more grateful for the enabling grace that the Lord provides for me. 

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

The message of the cross to Christians is “the power of God.” I will become aware of the state of one’s heart by how they interpret the message of the cross.

1 Timothy 1:8 We know that the law is good if one uses it properly.

May I be wise in my use of God’s Word. 

Romans 16:17-18 I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.

Lord, give me wisdom regarding who to keep away from and remove the stumbling blocks those people put in the way.

Romans 15:1-2 We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.

Enable me to build others up who are weak in the faith. Give me wisdom to help others in this area.
