Ephesians 4:2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Am I always humble, gentle, and patient? Father, when difficulties come, help me to be these things and to be loving to others.
Ephesians 4:2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Ephesians 2:1-2 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
Satan is at work in the area and people around me, but God is bigger than the evil one. Lord, protect me from the evil one and those he is working through.
1 Timothy 6:7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.
Keep me from being so “earth bound” and help me to treasure eternal riches.
Ephesians 1:20-23 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
May I remember that Christ is above everyone and everything, and He alone can fill my spirit, cleanse my heart, save my soul, and make me whole.
Galatians 4:13 As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you,
What can be seen as an illness for me, God uses to bring His word to others. Lord, may I share about You, even in the midst of my sufferings.
1 Timothy 5:24The sins of some are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them.
Sin will eventually be exposed and judged. May I keep my way pure!
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
We find these verses amidst verses about service. Perhaps it is nestled here because God knew it was going to be harder for people to give their time than money. May I be willing to be generous with my time, not just my finances.
1 Timothy 4:13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.
The preaching of the Word is paramount!
2 Corinthians 8:15 as it is written: “The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little.”
If I gather much, may I give generously and cheerfully.
2 Corinthians 7:6 But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
One of the ways God comforts us is by sending us close friends when we are in times of great distress.
