1 Timothy 4:16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. 

We are not called to give up when life gets hard, or when our course following Christ seems impossible. Instead, we are called to “persevere”…to continue on in the face of tragedy, difficulty, or hopeless circumstances. Father, enable me to persevere in my walk to be like You, and lead others to You as they watch how I handle my struggles.
