John 17:15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
Father, protect us from the evil one as we seek to spread Your Word.
John 17:15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
Father, protect us from the evil one as we seek to spread Your Word.
2 Corinthians 9:10
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
God supplies all I need both now and in the future. Thank You, dear Father, for Your provisions.
John 16:31 “Do you now believe?” Jesus replied.
How many signs and works must we see to believe? Father, help me to believe simply because of WHO You are, rather than WHAT You have done.
2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
God blesses us abundantly with all we need at all times. Lord, may I rely on Your provisions and Your faithfulness.
John 15:17 This is my command: Love each other.
Loving others isn’t optional; it is a command. In spite of the level of difficulty, may I love others as much as Christ, including my enemies.
2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able ..,
Do I truly believe this?
John 14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
Without faith, we cannot receive comfort.
2 Corinthians 9:7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
God is equally interested in the attitude behind my obedience. Lord, may i obey cheerfully!
John 13:21 After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, “Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.”
Because we are sinners, we all face betrayal from our closest friends. Jesus was troubled in spirit and therefore, I should not be surprised when I am betrayed and that I am also troubled in spirit at the thought of those who betray me.
John 12:42-43 Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue; for they loved human praise more than praise from God.
Outward and inward influences can keep us from acknowledging our faith. Father, may You always come first in my life.
