Psalm 107:35 He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs.//

God has the ability to transform desolate places in our lives into locations of flowing waters.

This is why I write these things when I am absent, that when I come I may not have to be harsh in my use of authority—the authority the Lord gave me for building you up, not for tearing you down.
2 Corinthians 13:10//

May I use my authority to build others up, and not to tear them down.

Psalm 107:30
He guided them to their desired haven.//

God will guide us to where we need to be. May His desired haven be MY desires haven.

I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world.
2 Corinthians 10:2//

Even Paul had to deal with gossip and divisiveness in the early church. Lord, guide my words carefully when speaking about others.

Psalm 107:29 He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.//

He still is in the business of stilling storms. Lord, still the inner storms I sometimes face!

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
2 Corinthians 9:6//

Lord, help me to sow generously in my finances as well as my relationships.

I am glad I can have complete confidence in you.
2 Corinthians 7:16//

This is what every follower longs to hear from his/her leader.

Psalm 107:25-26
For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves. They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away.//

Some storms in life are generated by the Lord to show us out inadequacies.

known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
2 Corinthians 6:9-10//

We are brought to the brink of our demise and we give everything up for Christ. May it be to honor God. Lord, use me to reach others, so that they may come to salvation through Jesus Christ.

Psalm 107:23-24 Some went out on the sea in ships; they were merchants on the mighty waters. They saw the works of the Lord, his wonderful deeds in the deep.//

The mighty power of God is not seen in the harbor or when lashed to the pier; it is seen “in the deep” where it is scary, uncertain, and risky.
