Daily Devo – Blind Devotion

The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.
Revelation 9:20-21//

Some people will not repent no matter how much suffering or time they are given to do so.

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
Revelation 7:9//

Note that there were people from “every” nation, tribe, people, and language. Even tribes that have never been contacted from the outside will Hage people there. Christ presents Himself to ALL people without limits. We must choose to accept Him, no matter where we are or where we came from.

Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”
Revelation 6:15-17//

The only way to escape God’s wrath is to accept the gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. “Everyone else” will be subject to the wrath of the Almighty. Lord, may all of us repent before it is too late!

After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”
Revelation 4:1//

There is a literal door Heaven. I wonder if this is the same door that will someday be shut fo eternity, keeping in the saints and no longer letting in sinners?
