If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

My ultimate purpose is to proclaim praise to the Lord. Oddly, I don’t spend nearly enough time doing that.

To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

Apart from God, true happiness is impossible.

People will sin and people will seek grace. No sin is new and praise the Lord for His forgiveness of our sins!

Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Lord, help me to continuously honor my wife and help others to see her hard work and grace.

Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.
