The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.

In the same way, the women are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.

I praise the Lord for a Godly wife who matches this description.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.
1 Timothy 2:5-6//

Jesus is the only way to the Father.

We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

God details what is sinful.

And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith.
2 Thessalonians 3:2//

Some people actually are evil. Lord, deliver and keep us from them.

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-10//

Lord, grant me discernment between truth and lies that only appear to be truth.

Grace and peace come only from the Lord.

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

Lord, grant me great patience, as I often run short of it.

Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you.

I don’t know whom the Lord is sending me to, but I pray He clears the path and paves the way forward.

We had previously suffered and been treated outrageously in Philippi, as you know, but with the help of our God we dared to tell you his gospel in the face of strong opposition.

I may face strong opposition spreading the Gospel, but I am here to serve God, not men. Lord, bind the enemy. Amen.
