Luke 10:34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.
Ministry is messy. It requires personal involvement, time, and inconvenience. It is costly. But isn’t this how God deals with us?

Revelation 14:11-12 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.
Evil people will fall under God’s wrath if they do not repent and accept Him. I need to be a patient example of God’s grace and remember that God will take care of those who chose not to be in Him.

Luke 10:33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.
Give me a greater awareness of how I can minister to people in need I encounter in my everyday routine.

Revelation 13:4 People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”
When we fail to recognize that God is the ultimate authority, we are easily deceived and put others in His place, causing us to replace God in our own lives.

Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.
Praise be to our Lord for saving us in spite of hearing continuous accusations against us. Thank You for Your amazing grace!

Luke 10:21 At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father…”
Joy and praise go hand in hand. They are produced through the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives. Do Your work in me, Lord!

Luke 10:20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
The foundation for my joy should not be successful ministry; rather it should be the assurance of my salvation. Ministry results can be fleeting and disappointing; salvation is an unchanging truth.

Revelation 9:20-21 The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.
Despite miraculous signs, there will be people who refuse to repent. Father, whenever I sin, enable me to repent and turn toward You.
