Luke 11:39 Then the Lord said to him, “Now then, you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.”
Cleanse me from within, dear Lord!

Luke 11:28 He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
May I listen and obey You, dear Father. Therein is the secret of blessedness. 

Luke 11:18 If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? 
Disrupt and confuse the demons, dear Jesus!

1 Samuel 12:24 But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you. 
When I feel down, may I always remember the many great things You have done for me. Lord, help me to serve You faithfully with ALL of my heart!

1 Samuel 11:6 When Saul heard their words, the Spirit of God came powerfully upon him, and he burned with anger. 
Sometimes the Lord uses the Spirit combined with Godly anger to rescue His people.

Luke 11:17 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: “Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall.”
“You knows my thoughts. Provide added grace and strength when I am weak, Lord.”

1 Samuel 10:9a As Saul turned to leave Samuel, God changed Saul’s heart. . .
May I never forget that God can change the heart of any one. . .even me. Father, thank You for Your mercy, grace, and redeeming power.

Luke 11:13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
God’s greatest gifts are not material nor temporal; they are spiritual. 

1 Samuel 9:7 Saul said to his servant, “If we go, what can we give the man? The food in our sacks is gone. We have no gift to take to the man of God. What do we have?” 
When we think we have nothing, God goes ahead of us and prepares the way. Father, may I have strong faith!

Luke 11:12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
Even when God’s answers to our prayers “feel” like He is giving us a scorpion it is not — God is always good.
