John 12:16 At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him.//
Sometimes we don’t understand what God is telling us until we see His work come to fruition.

John 11:32 When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”//
How often I blame God while I do not know His greater plan. Give me strong faith!

Mark 14:61 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”//
Sometimes we should not defend ourselves. Grant me wisdom to know when, Lord. 

John 10:38-39 But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” Again they tried to seize him, but he escaped their grasp.//
There will be people who do not believe in Jesus or the works of God they see around them. Instead, they will perceive Him as a threat.

Mark 14:55 The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death, but they did not find any.//
Those who try to discredit Jesus will fail. Amen!

John 9:25 He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”//
While I don’t know everything about God, I do know what He has done for me.

Mark 14:54 Peter followed him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. There he sat with the guards and warmed himself at the fire.//
When we follow Jesus at a distance our likelihood of betraying Him increases.

John 8:24 I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins.”//
Father, help me to believe without doubt,

John 7:24 Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.”//
Lord, give me sound and discerning judgment.

John 6:6 He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.//
God may sometimes question me to test me.
