Colossians 1:20
and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.//

Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.”

Notice the word “again.” This man had been well 38 years ago in his life, but some sin he commuted caused him to be an invalid. But, sin leads to death in Hell, far worse than any earthly disability.

Colossians 1:19
For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him.//

God is pleased to have His being dwell in Jesus… AND (I suspect) in us.

Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon.

Despite how tired I am and how long I have traveled, I must be ready to witness for Christ.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Placing our faith and belief in Jesus saves us from eternal condemnation.

May He be supreme in every area of my life.

After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.

“Then they believed”…how often do I not believe until after God’s word has come to fruition?

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

Without Jesus, there is no life.

He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:

In the midst of grief, I tend to forget God’s promises to me.

He is before all things, and in him all

He is the Creator and Sustainer. Father, sustain every aspect of my life!
