Isaiah 30:15 This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.//

Repentance is an essential part of the Christian life.

It is within God’s character to remove people from this world if they are wicked.

Will you actually rule us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said.

The Lord grants us dreams others do not understand, and they may hate us for the plans the Lord has given us via our dreams.

Esau took his wives and sons and daughters and all the members of his household, as well as his livestock and all his other animals and all the goods he had acquired in Canaan, and moved to a land some distance from his brother Jacob. Their possessions were too great for them to remain together; the land where they were staying could not support them both because of their livestock.

The blessings provided to us by God may require us to move far distances from our immediate family members.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
