Despite everything He has already done for me, the Lord hears my grumbling and answers my prayers. He is the epitome

When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.”
Exodus 13:17//

God knows what difficulties I can face and continue to obey His commands.

The Lord set a time and said, “Tomorrow the Lord will do this in the land.” And the next day the Lord did it: All the livestock of the Egyptians died, but not one animal belonging to the Israelites died.
Exodus 9:5-6//

The Lord sets a timetable for His will to be done.

Yet Pharaoh’s heart became hard and he would not listen to them, just as the Lord had said.
Exodus 7:13//

Lord, may my heart remain faithful to You in the midst of trial and adversity.

Moses reported this to the Israelites, but they did not listen to him because of their discouragement and harsh labor.
Exodus 6:9//

Discouraged people have difficulty listening to truth.

When they left Pharaoh, they found Moses and Aaron waiting to meet them, and they said, “May the Lord look on you and judge you! You have made us obnoxious to Pharaoh and his officials and have put a sword in their hand to kill us.”

When we do what God asks and others do not see immediate results, they will likely be angry.

Isaiah 30:30
The Lord will cause people to hear his majestic voice and will make them see his arm coming down with raging anger and consuming fire, with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.//

God has a way to cause people to hear His voice and see His hand. Do that in our day, Lord!

Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”
Exodus 4:12-13//

Lord, I am scared, nervous, and a bit anxious, but I know You will be with me and teach me what to say. Father, send me and use me how You see fit.

The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey —the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

The Lord is concerned about me and will rescue me if He deems it necessary.

Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom, saying, “I have become a foreigner in a foreign land.”
