Daily Devo – Blind Devotion

I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Revelation 7:14//

It is good to know that some still keep the commandments of Christ during the great tribulation. If Christians can survive that, we can survive these sinful times.

They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.
Revelation 6:10-11//

Apparently, patience is still required in Heaven.

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”
Revelation 5:13//

It is hard for me to fathom how awesome this will be…when all of creation gives praise to our living God simultaneously.

From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder.
Revelation 4:5a//

Interesting that “rumblings” is listed before and separate from “thunder”. We can deduce that the vibrations do not result from the thunder. It appears that, in Heaven, the power of God can be physically seen, heard, and felt – three things that we do not often experience from God while on Earth.

13 I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives.
Revelation 2:13//

I wonder if this is part of what God would say to me today?

For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
Jude 1:4//

Some will call themselves Christians and yet, promote immorality, such as homosexuality, as non-sinful.
