1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith.
Interesting that Paul likens exhibiting faith as a “fight.” May I remember that God is not the enemy; Satan, sin, and unbelief are the enemies.

Philippians 1:12 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.
Unforeseen things will happen to me that God will use to advance the gospel. Lord, help me to keep this in perspective when difficult circumstances arise.
1 Timothy 6:11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
To be a man of God I must flee certain things and follow certain things. It requires both. Help me, Father.
Ephesians 6:4 Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
Lord, grant me the knowledge, wisdom, and patience to bring my children up in Your instruction. May I never be overbearing, and may they be devoted to You from an early age and continue throughout eternity.
1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.
Help me to keep money in its rightful place, Lord.
Ephesians 4:2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Am I always humble, gentle, and patient? Father, when difficulties come, help me to be these things and to be loving to others.
Ephesians 2:1-2 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
Satan is at work in the area and people around me, but God is bigger than the evil one. Lord, protect me from the evil one and those he is working through.
1 Timothy 6:7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.
Keep me from being so “earth bound” and help me to treasure eternal riches.
Ephesians 1:20-23 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
May I remember that Christ is above everyone and everything, and He alone can fill my spirit, cleanse my heart, save my soul, and make me whole.
Galatians 4:13 As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you,
What can be seen as an illness for me, God uses to bring His word to others. Lord, may I share about You, even in the midst of my sufferings.
