Colossians 4:5 Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.//
Notice that opportunities to minister toward others are found in our actions, not our words.

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.//
I wonder how good I am at this? Lord, help me.

Philippians 4:12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.//
Contentedness is something that must be learned through experience.

Galatians 2:6,20 As for those who were held in high esteem—whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism—they added nothing to my message.//

Paul was not enamored nor intimidated by prestigious spiritual leaders.  

Galatians 2:8 For God, who was at work in Peter as an apostle to the circumcised, was also at work in me as an apostle to the Gentiles.//
God works IN as He works THROUGH people. 

Philippians 3:1 Further, my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord! It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you.//
We need to hear wisdom repeatedly, so that we do not fall into evil ways.

Philippians 2:27 Indeed he was ill, and almost died. But God had mercy on him, and not on him only but also on me, to spare me sorrow upon sorrow.//
Apparently, God will save people in our lives to spare us sorrow.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.//
May I remember who our struggle is against.

Ephesians 4:1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.//
