Acts 6:6-7 They presented these men to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them. So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.//
When we allow God to use us for His purpose, His Word will spread and the number of believers will increase.

Mark 16:6 “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen!//
Because Jesus is alive do I have any reason for alarm?

Acts 5:29 Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!//
Lord, help me to follow and obey only You!

Acts 1:10-11 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” 
Jesus is coming back!!!

John 21:21-22 When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.”//
May I focus on what God wants me to do in my life, and not be concerned about what His plans are for others.

Mark 15:39 And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, saw how he died, he said, “Surely this man was the Son of God!”//
The death of Jesus can grip the heart of those who consider it.

John 20:8-9 Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.//
Even though we see God’s works and believe, we may still not understand.

John 19:12-13 From then on, Pilate tried to set Jesus free, but the Jewish leaders kept shouting, “If you let this man go, you are no friend of Caesar. Anyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar.” When Pilate heard this, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judge’s seat at a place known as the Stone Pavement which in Aramaic is Gabbatha.//
Fear of men and lack of faith in God make us do unspeakable things.

Mark 15:33 At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon.//
Where sin rules darkness pervades.

John 18:3 So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons.//
Evil often brings with it an offense that appears insurmountable, but defeating the enemy is possible with God.
