2 Corinthians 9:2 For I know your eagerness to help, and I have been boasting about it to the Macedonians, telling them that since last year you in Achaia were ready to give; and your enthusiasm has stirred most of them to action.//
My demeanor will affect the action or non-action of others.

2 Corinthians 7:10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.//
If sorrow is required, then may my only sorrow be Godly sorrow.

2 Corinthians 5:6-7 Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight.//
May I remember that I do not live by sight.

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.//
Some people think that doing what makes them happy brings them freedom. But, the reality is that doing what the Lord wants us to do brings freedom.

Psalm 78:9-10 The men of Ephraim, though armed with bows, turned back on the day of battle; they did not keep God’s covenant and refused to live by his law.//
Disobedience renders us helpless in the midst of conflict. 

2 Corinthians 2:7 Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.//
Part of the reason I should forgive those who have offended me is to keep them from being overtaken by sorrow.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.//
Interesting that Paul notes one of the reasons for suffering is so that we may comfort others. May I remember this when I endure trials.

1 Corinthians 15:9-10 For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.//
“But the grace of God”…thank You, Lord, for Your grace!

1 Corinthians 14:12, 25 So it is with you. Since you are eager for gifts of the Spirit, try to excel in those that build up the church.//as the secrets of their hearts are laid bare. So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, “God is really among you!”//
May I build up those in the church and prophesy about Jesus so that many will come to know Him as their Savior.

1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. //
May I love others unconditionally.
