Revelation 4:9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever,
God’s glory is so great that even “the one whom Jesus loved” referred to Him by one of His characteristics, rather than by name.

Luke 9:46 An argument started among the disciples as to which of them would be the greatest.
Forgive us, Lord, for comparing ourselves with others.

Revelation 3:19-20 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
When we repent, God is always there waiting for us. Lord, may I accept Your discipline and always turn away from evil and toward You. When I do so, please sustain me so I will never hunger or thirst as we dine together in eternity.

Luke 9:45 But they did not understand what this meant. It was hidden from them, so that they did not grasp it, and they were afraid to ask him about it.

Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.
We don’t always understand the signs God gives us, but He reveals their mystery to us in His timing.

Luke 9:42 Even while the boy was coming, the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the impure spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father.
“But Jesus…” I need to remember that when the devil is oppressing and attacking me or my family. Jesus has the last word and will show His power!

Jude 1:18-19 They said to you, βIn the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.β These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
Lord, focus my heart and mind set on You and keep those who divide via ungodly desires far from my family, far from those I love, and far from me.
