Luke 11:4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.
Vertical forgiveness and horizontal forgiveness are somehow connected. Father, give me the grace to do both.

When the Lord calls me, am I quick to seek Him and listen? Or, do I serve people first, failing to put God above all else?

Am I wanting MY kingdom to come or His? Father, may my priority be Your kingdom!

Do I honor myself, my family, or anything above God? Lord, may I always keep You as my number one priority.

One of the starting places for prayer is praising God, recognizing that He is Lord, not me.

Prayer begins in the context of relationship. Unless I view God as my Father my prayer will be jaded.
