Revelation 1:18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. 
Praise the Lord that only He holds the keys to death. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me from the grave!

Job 10:1-2 “I loathe my very life; therefore I will give free rein to my complaint and speak out in the bitterness of my soul. I say to God: Do not declare me guilty, but tell me what charges you have against me. 
Giving into suffering and bitterness makes us question the Most High God, rather than being still and listening to Him.

1 John 4:19 We love because he first loved us.
The more I grow in understanding God’s love the more I will be able to love others with His love. 

James 3:7-8 All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 
May I watch my words in everything I say. Lord, keep me from using my tongue to do evil or harming others.

1 John 4:5 [Those in the world] are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them.
I cannot expect worldly people to act like believers. I can expect worldly people to listen to and embrace worldly values. 

2 Peter 2:1-2 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 
Denying the Lord starts in secret. May I never deny Him.

Hebrews 9:14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! 
When we accept Christ, our conscience should be cleared, so that we can serve God. When I am accused by the evil one, may God remind me that He has set me free!

1 John 3:20 If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
When my heart condemns me this is the hope: God is greater than my heart!

Hebrews 5:7 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 
May I be submissive so that the Lord will hear my prayers.

Hebrews 6:19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,

Without hope, my soul has no anchor. Lord, may I always have hope!
