Daily Devo – Blind Devotion

Mark 2:18 Now John’s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. Some people came and asked Jesus, “How is it that John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees are fasting, but yours are not?”
May I not fall prey to questioning other people’s spirituality because they are not like me.

Revelation 9:20-21 The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.
There will be people in my life who will simply refuse to repent no matter what they see or hear.

Revelation 8:1 When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
Since the Lord is worshipped 24 hours per day at all times for eternity, 30 minutes of silence in Heaven is not to be taken lightly. Clearly, the end of the world is not a trivial matter, even in the eyes of the Almighty God.

Revelation 2:21-23 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.
The Lord gives us a finite time to repent. If we are unwilling to do so, we shall suffer the consequences.
