Romans 3:7-8 Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?” Why not say—as some slanderously claim that we say—“Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is just!

God is just in all that He does, including respecting the choice of those who select condemnation versus accepting God’s grace.

Romans 2:3-4 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

God’s kindness and grace is granted to us so that we may repent and live forever with Him, as well as to display His grace and kindness to others. Father, may I remember this when dealing with difficult people and unbelievers.

Romans 1:8, 11-12 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world. I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.

Faith not only makes us strong and encourages us when shared, but it is also contagious and conspicuous.

Acts 28:23-24 They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus. Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe.

No matter how much evidence we present to others about Christ, there will always be those who refuse to believe. Father, give me boldness to speak to all people about You; in spite of the opposition I may face.

Acts 27:20 When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days and the storm continued raging, we finally gave up all hope of being saved.

When the storms in our lives are long and intense, we often give up hope that God can save us. Lord, help me to remember that You are always near and can do the impossible.
