Romans 14:19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Unity requires every effort. Lord, may I do my part!

Romans 12:9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 

Lord, keep my moral compass straight. Enable my love for others to be true, full, and honest.

Romans 14:15 If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died.

We should not flaunt our Liberty and, therefore, frustrate other believers. Help us, Lord, to be wise and kind in how we live. 

Romans 11:36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.To him be the glory forever! Amen. 

Just as nothing is impossible with God; nothing is possible without Him. Father, we praise You for all You have created and given! May I be as kind and merciful as You.

Romans 14:13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. 

Apparently critical attitudes are not just a 21st century phenomenon. It’s a trap we all can fall into. Lord, help me. 

Romans 10:20 And Isaiah boldly says,“I was found by those who did not seek me;I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.” 

The almighty God can reveal Himself to anyone at any time, whether they are seeking Him or not. Lord, reveal Yourself to those in my life who need You as much as I need You.

Romans 14:12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.

Our ultimate accountability is to the Lord. We are responsible for our decisions and all of us will answer to God for our choices. 

Romans 9:21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use? 

Lord, mould me and use me for a special purpose.

Romans 14:11 It is written: “ ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’ ”

A day is coming when the atheists, scoffers, and doubters will bow and verbally recognized Jesus is God and Lord. 

Romans 8:5-7 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 

We can choose what we set our minds to. If we make wrong choices, we can be hostile to God. Lord, help me to keep my mind always focused on You.
