Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

Only Jesus can forgive our sins.

We have one life to live and to accept God. Jesus took the punishment for my sins in His one life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving this wretched sinner!

For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more. ”

God is sovereign overall and chooses not to remember our sins when we ask for forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ.

but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
Hebrews 7:24-25//

Jesus saves completely those who come to the Father through Him.

But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.
Hebrews 6:8//

Lord, make me fertile ground for You and Your Word so that it may spread salvation to many far and wide.

He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness.
Hebrews 5:2//

Lord, enable me to deal gently with those who are ignorant.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Hebrews 4:16//

Lord, thank You for granting me mercy and grace whenever I need it; especially those times I need it most.

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

The key to keep from having a hardened and unbelieving heart is to surround myself with fellow Christians who encourage me daily.

We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.
Hebrews 2:1//

It is important to concentrate on God’s Word, so that we do not drift from the truth.

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
