When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked. “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

We tend to fall into fear when we cannot see or have faith regarding what the Lord is doing behind the scenes.

Elisha sent a messenger to say to him, “Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed.” But Naaman went away angry and said, “I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy.
2 Kings 5:10-11//

Sometimes we expect God to work in big ways on our timetable, but He has His own way of doing things on His own timetable.

He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
Revelation 22:20//

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
Revelation 21:1//

God will provide His people with water so they shall never thirst. There will no longer be a need for the sea.

The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:13-15//

Those whose names are not written in the book of life will suffer for eternity. Is your name written in the book of life?

And again they shouted: “Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.”
Revelation 19:3//

Hell is for eternity. It does not end at the end of time.

“Rejoice over her, you heavens! Rejoice, you people of God! Rejoice, apostles and prophets! For God has judged her with the judgment she imposed on you.”
Revelation 18:20//

The Lord will eventually take vengeance and we are asked to rejoice at that moment, as God imposes His judgment.

They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings —and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”
Revelation 17:14//

In the end, Jesus wins.

Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say: “You are just in these judgments, O Holy One, you who are and who were; for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.”
Revelation 16:5-6//

Apparently, there are specific angels in charge of certain physical characteristics of the Earth (e.g. waters).

I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the seven last plagues —last, because with them God’s wrath is completed.
Revelation 15:1//

There will come a time when the Lord’s wrath is complete. The end of all wickedness will be the beginning of a marvelous wonder where His people will worship and live with Him forever and ever.
