When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked. “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

We tend to fall into fear when we cannot see or have faith regarding what the Lord is doing behind the scenes.

Elisha sent a messenger to say to him, “Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed.” But Naaman went away angry and said, “I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy.

Sometimes we expect God to work in big ways on our timetable, but He has His own way of doing things on His own timetable.

Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Those whose names are not written in the book of life will suffer for eternity. Is your name written in the book of life?

Apparently, there are specific angels in charge of certain physical characteristics of the Earth (e.g. waters).

There will come a time when the Lord’s wrath is complete. The end of all wickedness will be the beginning of a marvelous wonder where His people will worship and live with Him forever and ever.
