2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. 3 They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.

Any religion who kills in the name of God does not know the Father.

When I wonder why some people don’t love Jesus, there is no reason. I can’t make sense out of something that makes no sense.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.

There is a direct correlation between faith and trouble felt in the heart. When my faith is strong, my heart will be troubled less.

It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
John 13:1//

When I am no longer on Earth, may others say I loved them to the end.

for they loved human praise more than praise from God.
John 12:43//

Lord, may I seek Your praise and not the praise of humans.

When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”

How often do I think that something better should have happened because I don’t see the Lord near me or in the timeframe I expect Him?

28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.

Thank You, Lord, for both saving and protecting me.

His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.

May the works of God be displayed in me.

58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

Jesus, the Great I Am, whom few believed, even when speaking to them in the flesh. Lord, grant me faith that does not fail, and enable me to always believes in Jesus!

But no one would say anything publicly about him for fear of the leaders.
John 7:13//

Ironically, this same fear can still occur today. Lord, grant me the courage, strength, and faith to speak out for You, even when it is not popular.
