John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. 

Lord, give me Your overwhelming peace.

Luke 1:50 His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation.

Mercy extended not just to me, but to our children and grandchildren. Thank You, Father!

2 Corinthians 7:10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 

Lord, thank You for Godly sorrow that brings repentance; that I might be closer to You.

Luke 1:49 

…for the Mighty One has done great things for me—holy is His name.

May I continue to recognize the great things God has done for me!

2 Corinthians 6:11-13 We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you. We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us. As a fair exchange—I speak as to my children—open wide your hearts also. 

May I never withhold Godly affection from those who God wants me to reach for Him. Lord, make me as loving as You.

Luke 1:48 for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant.

God is aware of the state of my heart, my soul, and my mind. He understands how I am feeling and the struggles, frustrations, and pressures that I face. Thank You, Lord. 

Luke 8:1-3 After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him, and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out; Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod’s household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means. 
God uses faithful people, obscure people, and broken people for His purposes and kingdom. 

2 Corinthians 5:4 For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 

While on Earth, there will be groans of pain and deep burdens created by sin. Father, may I remember that these struggles are merely temporary and that our mortality will be overcome by eternal life because of Your everlasting love and grace. Amen.

Luke 1:46-47 And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,

Cultivate within me a heart of praise, dear Lord. 

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 

Our troubles on this Earth are “momentary.” They may seem like years, but when viewed in the eyes of eternity, they will be a mere blink of an eye. Thank You, Father, for working in my life to renew me and helping me achieve eternal glory!
