Revelation 8:1 When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
The end of the world is not a trivial matter as everything in Heaven is silent just prior to its demise.

Luke 10:2 He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Laborers in the kingdom must be prayed for. Forgive me for praying for myself so much and neglecting kingdom praying, Lord.

Revelation 7:9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
No one is without excuse…there will be people from EVERY nation, tribe, and language…even places that are untouched by modern society. Praise to our Lord who saves those who are willing to accept Him!

Luke 9:62 Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”

Revelation 6:11a Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer. . .
I need to remember to be patient and that the Lord will finish His work in His time.

Luke 9:61 Still another man said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.”
How easy it is to qualify our commitment. “I will follow you, Lord, but…” May I follow Christ without reservation!

Revelation 5:13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”
There will be a day when all creatures great and small worship the Lord our God. Lord, come soon!

Luke 9:51 As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.
May I have renewed resolve to move forward!

Revelation 4:9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever,
God’s glory is so great that even “the one whom Jesus loved” referred to Him by one of His characteristics, rather than by name.

Luke 9:46 An argument started among the disciples as to which of them would be the greatest.
Forgive us, Lord, for comparing ourselves with others.
