Part of the Gospel message is that extremely educated people investigated the events of Jesus’ life, and found all to be true and accurate.

Exodus 33:17

And the Lord said to Moses, “I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.”//

Isn’t it interesting that the Lord ties being pleased with Moses directly to knowing him? There appears to be a connection between God being pleased with us and how much time we spend with Him, so that we can know Him and He can know us.

Exodus 32:22-24

“Do not be angry, my lord,” Aaron answered. “You know how prone these people are to evil. They said to me, ‘Make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him.’ So I told them, ‘Whoever has any gold jewelry, take it off.’ Then they gave me the gold, and I threw it into the fire, and out came this calf!”//
