At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid. Because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.

Jesus is “‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:11-12//
Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus!
But it is your custom for me to release to you one prisoner at the time of the Passover. Do you want me to release ‘the king of the Jews’?” They shouted back, “No, not him! Give us Barabbas!” Now Barabbas had taken part in an uprising.
John 18:39-40//
The meaning of Barrabbas in Aramaic is “son of the father.” The one and only true son of the Father is standing there while the people yell, “Give us the ‘son of the father!'” A final figuretive “slap in the face” to Jesus. I cannot imagine what I would have said if I were Him. Lord, grant me the patience of Jesus!
9 I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.
John 17:9//
Jesus prayed for believers. Interesting that He specifically says He did not pray for the world.
Colossians 2:6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him.//
I received Christ by faith; I need to trust Him for my daily problems by faith.
Colossians 2:3
In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.//
May I access His wisdom!
2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. 3 They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.
John 16:2-3//
People think they are killing Christians to help God because they do not know the Father or Jesus.
Colossians 2:2
My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love.//
Is this MY goal in ministry?
12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
John 15:12-13//
Am I willing to love others to the extent it means my life for theirs?
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6//
There is only ONE way to the Father, and that is through His Son, Jesus Christ!
