I don’t think it is mere coincidence that we are told to start children in the way they should go and then immediately told to avoid debt. This is clearly an important lesson for us to teach our children, and we must also be an example to them regarding how to stay out of debt.

Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.;; Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and nagging wife.
Proverbs 21:9,19//

I think this can apply to either sex in a marriage. Lord, may I not be a quarrelsome spouse. And, when I disciple unmarried men, may I guide them toward a spouse that is strong in her Godly character; not simply pleasant in her beauty.

Isaiah 14:1 The Lord will have compassion on Jacob;
once again he will choose Israel and will settle them in their own land.//

Even though I can be obstinate, disobedient, foolish, and idolatrous the Lord’s compassion never wanes.

Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person who can find?

God is the only One who is always faithful, and I praise Him for His grace for my failings.
