Daily Devo – Blind Devotion

With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished. ” When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them.
Genesis 19:15-16//

Apparently, the Lord can be gracious enough to lead us to safety even when we hesitate.

When things do not happen in our timing, our tendency is to blame God and take matters into our own hands.

Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan. But when they came to Harran, they settled there. Terah lived 205 years, and he died in Harran.

Life doesn’t always go according to our plans.

The rainbow should be a reminder to us that God is trustworthy all of His days.
