This temple will become a heap of rubble. All who pass by will be appalled and will scoff and say, ‘Why has the Lord done such a thing to this land and to this temple?’ People will answer, ‘Because they have forsaken the Lord their God, who brought their ancestors out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them—that is why the Lord brought all this disaster on them.’”

The Lord gave Solomon wisdom, just as he had promised him. There were peaceful relations between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them made a treaty.

The Lord keeps His promises yesterday, today, and forever more.

Isaiah 40:29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.//

Weariness and weakness provide the platform for me to realize God’s power in my life.

From all nations people came to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, sent by all the kings of the world, who had heard of his wisdom.
1 Kings 4:34//

The Lord’s wisdom draws everyone near.

Isaiah 40:28 He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.//

God totally understands what is going on in my life as wells as the why, the when and the how.

So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”
1 Kings 3:9//

Lord, please grant me wisdom and discernment.

“I am about to go the way of all the earth,” he said. “So be strong, act like a man, and observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go

Part of the essence of being a man is to walk in obedience to the Lord.
