Psalm 105:4-5 Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done.//
I discover God’s strength as I recall His wonders.
Psalm 105:4-5 Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done.//
I discover God’s strength as I recall His wonders.
Exodus 40:38
So the cloud of the Lord was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the Israelites during all their travels.//
God never leaves us.
Exodus 39:42
The Israelites had done all the work just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
This was an extraordinary amount of detailed work. Do I do everything the Lord asks me to do in the way He wants it done? If not, why?
Psalm 104:33
I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.//
Give me a continued heart of worship.
2 Corinthians 13:7 Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong. //
I need to pray for others not to sin.
Exodus 35:34
And he has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others.//
I need to remember that teaching is a gift granted by God, and is not something everyone can do.
Exodus 34:29
When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord.//
When we spend time with the Lord, His glory is evident to others through us, even when we don’t realize it.
Exodus 33:17
And the Lord said to Moses, “I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.”//
Isn’t it interesting that the Lord ties being pleased with Moses directly to knowing him? There appears to be a connection between God being pleased with us and how much time we spend with Him, so that we can know Him and He can know us.
Exodus 32:22-24
“Do not be angry, my lord,” Aaron answered. “You know how prone these people are to evil. They said to me, ‘Make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him.’ So I told them, ‘Whoever has any gold jewelry, take it off.’ Then they gave me the gold, and I threw it into the fire, and out came this calf!”//
How quick am I to blame other people for my transgressions?
Exodus 31:3
and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills —//
The Lord grants us the right people for the job in His timing. May I use the gifts He has given me to serve Him.
