Genesis 3:22-24 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.//
The Lord will use angels to block us from the things that we should not partake.

Genesis 2:8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.//
How interesting it is that the Lord starts with planting in Genesis and ends with harvesting in Revelation.

Genesis 1:14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years,//
Time was created by God, not man.

Revelation 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.//
We wait with strong anticipation for the second coming of Jesus!!!

Revelation 21:27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.//
A great day with everything made new is coming!

Revelation 20:12-13 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.//
May I serve the Kingdom of Christ for the rest of my life, so that my deeds in the Book of Life may be many.

Revelation 19:11, 14 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.//

Apparently, there are animals in Heaven.

Revelation 18:20 “Rejoice over her, you heavens! Rejoice, you people of God! Rejoice, apostles and prophets! For God has judged her with the judgment she imposed on you.”//
In God’s judgment, there will be rejoicing among His people.

1 Thessalonians 4:12 so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders.//
Unbelievers are watching me.

Revelation 16:10-11 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.//
I will never understand why some people continue to curse God, rather than to love Him, repent, and become free of their sin.
