Exodus 33:17
And the Lord said to Moses, “I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.”//
Isn’t it interesting that the Lord ties being pleased with Moses directly to knowing him? There appears to be a connection between God being pleased with us and how much time we spend with Him, so that we can know Him and He can know us.
This is so true, and that is why I try to have my quiet time with Him first thing in the morning. It is easier said than done sometimes, and I always feel it when I don’t take the time to put Him first every day.
